"ADOPTED"
Two young men came together to obtain a
drivers license.
One was tall, the other short.
One was red headed, the other black headed.
The lady at the DMV asked, their names.
One responded, John Adams.
The other said, Jim Adams.
The lady then asked, are you cousins?
John said, "No, we are brothers. One of us
is adopted, but we can't remember which one."

What a testimony, that the two boys did not
know which one was adopted!
The repentant, surrendering to Christ, person
is ADOPTED into the family of God!!
Galatians 4:4-5 says,
4 But when the time had fully come, God sent His
Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those under the law, that we might
receive our adoption as sons.
John 1:12 says
12 But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them
gave He power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on His name.
ANY person who comes to God through trusting
Jesus Christ as Lord, is redeemed from being
a sinner and granted "sonship" of God!
Romans 8:17 says,
17 And if children, the heirs; heirs of God, and
joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer
with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
How majestic is the love of God, that He would
suffer the cross, and allow His blood to become
atonement for our sins, and provide us to have
"sonship" with Him!
Have you surrendered to Christ as Lord of your
life; and received "sonship?"
