Today's Devotion:
"ALL Scripture"
A sales clerk was trying to help
a lady find a used Bible.
She picked up on and said,
"This one is good! There are
only a few highlights in
Matthew and John; but
Leviticus, Numbers,
Deuteronomy, Obadiah and
Malachi are just like NEW!"
____SCRIPTURE____
2Tim 3:16
ALL Scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness.

____THOUGHT______
Imagine, taking your cookbook
and picking out items for a meal.
Pick a main dish, appetizer,
salad and a dessert.
One thing that might happen
with that idea is one may end
up with a meal that says:
Burritos, tuna salad, asparagus
and chocolate pudding.
Well, that may sound like a
weird example.
But lots of folk like to just skip
around to favorite places in
the Bible.
The Bible is more like a story.
One should read from ALL the
Scripture!
You can't get the whole story
from a novel if you just pick
a few chapters.
Neither can one receive the
whole story of God's love by
just picking and choosing
where to read.
Let's read the Bible from
beginning to end - then again,
and again, and again.....
That way, God's Holy Spirit can
spread new light on every
passage as it is reread!
Love ya!
