Today's Devotion:
"ALWAYS be READY to PRAISE God!"
Several years ago, Ann and I had just left a
shopping mall.
Suddenly, I was aware of 5 young men who
were following us.
Ordinarily, before that time, I wouldn't have
been concerned.
I was quite trained in self-defense, and had
worked with Ann in it also.
However, then we were much older, and the
body doesn't react the same way as when
we were young.
So, cautiously, yet boldly, I turned to face the
young men, while Ann continued quickly to
the car.
I asked with a big smile on my face, "Do you
fellas know Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior of your lives?"
One young man said, "AW MAN! He's a
preacher! Just what we need!"
Then, they all turned and left!

Prov. 3:25-26
25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the
desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and
shall keep thy foot from being taken.

_______THOUGHT______________
When we need God the most, we should
"praise" Him!
The Bible says, "But Thou art holy, O Thou that
inhabitest the praises of Israel." (Ps. 22:3)
God INHABITS the praises of His people!
Old age comes to all of us.
Weakness, inability, frailty, sickness and death
are all part of living.
And, that demonstrates our NEED for God's
PRESENCE!
God DESIRES to HELP those who LOVE Him!
"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout
the whole earth, to show himself strong in the
behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him."
(2Chron. 16:9)
Remember this year to ALWAYS let His praises
be on your lips!
Love ya!
