THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Brad Wilcox received a “B-“ on a theme paper in high school.
It was Valentine’s Day.
Brad thought he might better his grade by sending the teacher
a valentine.
He bought a big red box of chocolates.
Across the top he placed the letters, “BE MINE!”
Next day, he received a valentine from the teacher.
A note was written on the inside.
“Thanks! But it’s still BE MINUS!”

1 Cor 13:4-7
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things,
endureth all things.

The Greek word from which “Charity” is translated is agape.
It means love.
It is the kind of love that gives without thought of return.
Thus, the English word “Charity” was used.
How often do you think of love being given without thought of return?

Now THAT’S “Charity!”
THAT’S LOVE!
Aren't you glad God exhibited His love in a manner that cannot be
misunderstood?
RETURN His love!
GIVE yourself to Him!
Love ya!
