"A REMINDER"
Paying taxes probably reminds
us of the flag.
We turn white/pale when we
hear about what is owed.
We turn red just thinking about
it.
We turn blue (bruised) having
to pay that amount.
And we see stars when we see
for what it's used!
___SCRIPTURE___
Rom. 13:6-7
6 For this cause pay ye tribute
also, for they are God's
ministers, attending continually
upon this very thing.
7 Render therefore to all their
dues: tribute to whom tribute
is due; custom to whom
custom; fear to whom fear;
honour to whom honour.

___THOUGHT___
As Christians, we are in a
state of WAR.
We are at war with the devil
and his evil spirits who are
constantly trying to corrupt all
that is good.
And, yes, sometimes taxes
are used in a corrupt manner.
But shall we allow the devil to
bend our minds to cheat on
our taxes, or to simply not
pay them?
Doing that, we subect ouselves
to punishment.
We must, as servants of our
lord, pay what is due.
Jesus told Peter to go and
catch a fish.
In the mouth of the fish would
be a coin.
That coin would be enough
to pay both their taxes.
(Matt. 17:24-27)
We who PAY the taxes are
just and upright when we do.
Those who USE the taxes will
be judged for HOW they use
them.
It's a REMINDER to
FIGHT the GOOD fight!
