I remember when Mom told me to do
something I didn't want to do.
I would frown.
She would point her finger at me and say,
"DON'T take that ATTITUDE with me!"

Attitude can be described as: a state of
readiness to respond in a characteristic
manner to a stimulus.

I remember working on the church, placing
a new roof.
A Sunday School teacher in our church was
working beside me.
He had quick hands!
He was nailing the roofing very quickly!
All at once, he hit the wrong nail.
Blood spurted out!
Then, he held up his bleeding thumb, and
looked toward the heavens.
And, he said, "Oh Lord! WHY did you let me
do that? Are you trying to teach me a
LESSON?"

When most men would have been swearing,
his ATTITUDE of continually being a
PRAY' er, led to instant prayer!

In what ATTITUDE do YOU face the world
each day?

In every difficult circumstance we face, there
is a LESSON.

The ATTITUDE of a PRAY' er will contemplate
and learn!

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!
Have an ATTITUDE of PRAYER!
