THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

It is easy to be thankful for good things.
It requires a life of fulfillment to be thankful for difficulties.

Colossians 2
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith,
as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

LIGHT from the WORD.
In order to be "abounding therein (in life) with thanksgiving"
we must only do three things.
No matter what we face in life, we can be thankful, even for adversity,
if we are certain of these three things.
First, be "ROOTED" in Christ.
YIELD yourself to Him.
He will SEAL you in His Holy Spirit (See Eph. 1:13).
Second, be "BUILT UP" in Christ.
Through daily prayer and Bible study, we learn Jesus' character,
and His priniciples of truth for living.
Third, be "STABLISHED in the faith."
That word indicates fidelity and firmness.
It means to indicate, or exhibit our faithfulness to Christ
as we daily live our lives.
When we are PRAYING, STUDYING, and EXHIBITING our faith
in Christ, we will be “abounding in thanksgiving!”
No matter what you are facing, pause to give thanks to Jesus;
for only HE can give us the eternal hope that is established in Him!
