Six-year-old Angie came home from school with a blue ribbon.
She said she had won it for knowing an answer in natural history.
"I said a giraffe had 3 legs."
Mom said, "But honey, a giraffe has four legs."
Angie said, "Mebe so, but I was closer than anybody else!"

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again
unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away,
reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready
to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be,
ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

Praise God!
He has saved us from the penalty of sin - eternal death!
Praise God!
He is saving us from the power of sin - the temptations and trials of life!
Praise God!
Now, the WAY in which God is moving us is by "sanctification of the Spirit,"
And THAT is a real good definition of FAITH.
Praise God!
Let the power of God's Holy Spirit work in you today!

which constantly moves us in OBEDIENCE to Christ.
It is how faith works.
The dynamic power of God IN us to keep us in obedience to Christ.
We are KEPT by faith until the end result of regeneration and sanctification --
eternal glory being that end result!
