Today's Devotion:
"BE a SPARK PLUG"
Joy is a choice we make every day,
regardless of our circumstances.
When we focus on God's goodness,
we find reasons to rejoice in all things.
____SCRIPTURE____
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always.
Again I will say: REJOICE!
NKJV
____THOUGHT_____
Mrs. Jones taught a Sunday School
class of elderly women.
She was elderly herself, bent in her
back, with fingers gnarled from
arthritis.
But every Saturday morning, she
would call all her class members.
She always started the conversation
with: "OH! What a GREAT God
we have!"
Every Sunday morning, her
classroom was full!
Joy is a CHOICE!
Even when things don't go our
way, we can CHOOSE to
REJOICE in the Lord!
We can choose to focus on the
goodness of God rather than our
struggles in life.
And, when we choose that manner
of living, our hearts overflow with
JOY!
Choose to let joy rule in your life,
and BE a SPARK PLUG initiating
joy in others.
Love ya!
