Mom was in the kitchen cooking.
Her 4-year-old daughter came in saying she had a bad headache.
Mom told her to get the aspirin from the nightstand by her bed.
A few moments later, the 4-year-old came back, trying vainly to
open the bottle.
Mom explained, it was a "child-proof" cap, and opened it.
Her daughter asked, "But how does it know it's ME?"

What Christ OFFERS is indeed attractive!
The prophet Samuel once told King Saul,
To receive the benefits of the aspirin,
When Christians learn to throw out everything that exalts itself against God;
One cannot receive pain relief from sin

against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses,
31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit
before thee as my people, and they hear thy words,
but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love,

LIGHT from the WORD.
But they would not be obedient to "the Word that cometh
forth from the LORD."
Still, they, with hearts hardened, sought their own pleasures.
They would not be obedient to "the Word that cometh forth
from the LORD."
He offers personal peace!
He offers eternal joy!
But hardened hearts, seeking worldly pleasures, cause obedience
to Him to become a "child-proof" cap!
"Behold, to OBEY is better than sacrifice." (1Samuel 15:22)
one must follow the directions to open the cap.
To receive the benefits of Christianity,
one must follow the directions of CHRIST!
and, to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; (2Cor 10:5);
THEN, Christ will open the cap!
without first surrendering to the pain RELIEVER!
