THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Crops depend upon the farmer,
Songs depend upon the singer/writer,
Attire depends upon the buyer,
But completion of salvation depends upon God.

Ps 138:8
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Phil 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The expressions in the verses quoted above state both:
our dependence upon God’s mercy,
and our confidence in His continuing work of salvation.
We are sinners all, and depend totally upon His merciful forgiveness.
We can never weave a robe of righteousness,
because we have not one stitch of righteousness before our Lord. (Is. 64:6, Rom. 3:23)
Without the enduring mercy of God, we could never be saved.
We must depend totally upon Him for bringing us to HIS “expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Yet we are confident that we are:
“justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Rom. 3:24)
We are confident that “HIS righteousness” is declared in us (Rom. 3:26).
And, we are confident that constant prayers for forgiveness are answered by our merciful God (1John 1:9).
Let us express our confidence in our salvation.
And, let us express it through our total dependence upon Him.
Love ya!
