Today's Devotion:
"CONVINCED by WISE POWER"
We have smart phones, smart
TVs, smart watches.
But most I'm not convinced that
it is wise to have TV that is
watching you, as you watch it!
____SCRIPTURE____
1Cor. 1:24
24 But unto them which are called,
both Jews and Greeks, Christ the
power of God, and the wisdom of
God.
KJV
____THOUGHT______
It seems we have a great many
intellectuals, but few with
common sense.
Jesus is SHOWN to be the
POWER of God!
Jesus healed the lame, the
lepers, gave sight to the
blind, cast out demons,
and even raised the dead.
Jesus is SHOWN to be the
WISDOM of God!
Who else would teach FAITH
growing like a mustard seed?
Who else would teach that
men were like sheep, and that
God is the Master Shepherd?
When ONE came, exhibiting
the power and wisdom of
God, many did not LISTEN!
And, today, STILL, many
do not LISTEN!
WHY?
Because most people are
more concerned with their
DIGNITY than with Christ's
DIETY!
Is it not considered dignified
to bow before a king?
Is it not considered wise to
LISTEN to irrevocable TRUTH?
I am convinced that it is wise
to bow before "Christ the
power of God, and the wisdom
of God."
For He came to die for my sin,
and exhibited power over death
by rising from the grave!
Love ya!
