"CUT The ROPES"
Two intoxicated men got in a row boat.
They were attempting to cross the lake.
They rowed hard for 2 hours.
Then, they began to wonder why it was taking
so long to cross the lake.
Finally, they realized why.
The boat was still tied to the dock!

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like
men, be strong.

_______THOUGHT______________
Sadly today, there are many Christians like those
two men in the boat.
They are so intoxicated with the world they fail to
see the ropes which bind them, and keep them
from moving forward in faith.
In the text above, we find three things that will help
us to GROW in faith, and move forward for Christ.
WATCH YE!
Be SPIRITUALLY alert!
There are many who seek to deceive Christians
today.
In Ephesians 4:14, we are told to not be like
children, and allow others to draw us away from
the truth of Christ.
STAND FAST IN THE FAITH!
We are saved by a gracious God Who SEEKS
us out.
When we believe and give ourselves to Him,
He gives the gift of FAITH.
That is the ability to CLING to Him in all things.
It is only through the gift of faith that we can
overcome the deceptions and difficulties we
face in this world.
"...and THIS is the victory that overcometh the
world, even our faith." (1John 5:4)
QUIT YE LIKE MEN, BE STRONG!
There are those who seem to enjoy making
factions; and those who seduce to a lesser
faith.
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and
be ready always to give an answer to every
man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear."
(1Pet. 3:15)
CUT THE ROPES!
Start rowing with vigor; and don't stop until
Christ calls you home.
