The Sunday bulletin had two entries which caught
my attention.

Today's Sermon: "Fasting and Prayer"
After this morning's worship, pot-luck lunch in the
fellowship hall.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Sometimes we are careless with our thoughts and actions.
We tend to try and fit God into our cultural standards.

God's eternal perfection does not fit into our ways of
thinking!
God's ways and thoughts are on a MUCH higher plane
than our ways and thoughts! (See Is. 55:8)

One cannot sing "Standing On the Promises" on Sunday,
and teach abortion is ok the rest of the week!
One cannot sing "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"
on Sunday, and drink from the fouled cisterns of human
evil the rest of the week!

If we are truly saved, we are being CHANGED to fit
into the mold of Jesus!!

YOU, Christian, are God's BULLETIN to the world!

CORRECT your thoughts and actions with His Word,
so that the world will get the right MESSAGE!
