John's five-year-old son Mark couldn't wait to tell his friend
about the movie they had watched on television,
"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea."
The scenes with the submarine and the giant octopus had kept
In the middle of the telling, John interrupted Mark,
With a look of incredulity Mark replied,

LIGHT from the WORD.
This passage of Scripture not only teaches us a physical fact.
First, no matter how much we bring to God in prayer, He is never full!
"...of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."
Second, we are to be the same with others.
Let us "...KNOW the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
Are you RECEIVING God's benevolent grace?
Don't just be an river; be an ocean!

It spiritually teaches us about our relationship with God
and our relationship with others.
And when we are needing blessings, He is always sending
answers to our prayers.
We send Him our problems: He sends us joy and hope.
(John 1:16)
Our Lord is a tremendous receiver of our prayers,
and also a generous distributor of His love!
We are not "in tune" with God if we only take and do not return.
If the ocean never returned water through the rivers,
we would dry up and die!
that ye might be FILLED with all the fulness of God." (Eph 3:19)
