"Earthy AND Heavenly"
HI!
Once there was a famous tailor who used
the APPLE as his trademark.
When asked why, he said, "If it weren't
for the apple,where would we be in
respect to clothing?"

1 Cor 15:47-49
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second
man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy:
and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are
heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Clearly, Adam was of "the earth, earthy."
Also, Jesus is "the Lord from heaven."
Our Lord bore the image of the earth for awhile,
but He Also bore the image of the "heavenly!"
And such are those who are "born again" by
His Holy Spirit.
We are certainly bearing the image of the
"earthy;'" but are we also bearing the image
of the "heavenly?"
One day, God will change our bodies and make
them like Christ.
And the manner in which He lives shall also be
the manner in which we live!
What a glorious day that will be!
However, Christians, the change should
ALREADY be showing!
"But we all, with open face beholding the glory
of the Lord, are changed into the same image
from glory unto glory." (2Cor. 3:18)
As we constanly look toward Christ, He changes
our desires, then our actions begin to change.
Be careful you are not so earthly bound that you
are of no heavenly use.
And, be careful that you are not so heavenly
minded that you are of no earthly use!
