In our area of North Louisiana, we have
had four days of a DIFFERENT kind.
Icy snow is unnatural for us; especially
when it lasts more than four days.

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you
fall into various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith
produces patience.
4 But let patience have its perfect work,
that you may be perfect and complete,
lacking nothing.

This icy snow has produced a lot of
TRIALS!
Roads are slippery, and most people,
here in the South USA, are not equipped
to handle that condition.
Businesses are closed because travel
is difficult.
Energy/power is out in many places.
Yet, I see videos of parents and children
outside (in heavy clothing), having fun
SLEDDING on the icy snow!
When ingenuity meets testing, then we
have the JOY of overcoming!
Out of every test or trial comes a good
testimony!
The value of faith drives us to a greater
dependence upon our Lord!
Let's not be rooted in circumstances, but
grounded in trusting Jesus.
