For the Christian, FAITH is the neck which
joins our person to the HEAD, Who is
Christ our Lord.

Heb. 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for, the evidence of things not seen.

_______THOUGHT______________
When God's Spirit speaks to a person and
assures them that sin can be forgiven, that's
GRACE.
When a person hears that voice telling them
they are going in the wrong direction, that's
GRACE.
When, by grace, a person hears, believes,
and turns to Christ, that's REPENTANCE.
Then, when the person (by grace) has
repented, Christ endows them with FAITH.
The Bible says, "For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man
should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)
Faith is the gift of God which enables a
person to continue in Christ's manner even
though it may be difficult at times.
It is only when one receives faith that one
"...steps on the seeming void and finds the
Rock beneath," as Walt Whitman put it.
It is by FAITH that the Christian lives based
on the truths and promises of God!
