The pastor was playing golf with one of
his deacons.
It was a close match.
Then, on the last hole, the pastor teed
up the ball, swung his drive with great
force, but the ball just dribbled off the tee!
The pastor stood silent.
The deacon said, "Pastor I believe that
is profane silence!"

up into the high mountain;

When we GET up to pray in the morning it
helps us CLIMB up to a higher place;
then we are more able to SPEAK up for
Christ.
Some people are content to live in
profane silence!
The dark air of lethargy, selfishness and
pride stunts their relationship with Christ.
But when we humble ourselves before
God in prayer, we are lifted by His love,
mercy, grace and hope!
There is never a greater achievement
than being on the mountain of prayer!
And, there is no higher position in life
than to be on our knees before God!
Come to the mountain with Christ!
Come to the summit!
Reach the peak!
Then you can see the beauty of being
in the HIGH place!
And at that time, you will be encouraged to
SPEAK up about our wonderful Lord!
THEN, you will be able to speak to the
"cities" and say, "BEHOLD your GOD!"
