Today's Devotion:
"PEACE and GRACE Through CHRIST!"
HI!
In this world, we all are:
*tossed by emotions,
*buffeted by others,
*pushed by difficulties,
*eroded by adversity.
But, each of us can find peace
and grace through Christ.

2 Thess 3:16-18
16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you
peace always by all means. The Lord be with
you all.
17 The salutation of Paul with mine own hand,
which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with
you all. Amen.

_______THOUGHT______________
In Paul's inspired writing to the church in
Thessalonica, he brings out the realization
that each person can find and have PEACE
and GRACE for life.
We can all find it when we ask Jesus to
become the Master of who we are.
It is through the PRESENCE of Christ in our
hearts that we can have peace that endures
the difficulties we face in life.
Jesus said, in John 14:26-27:
"26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall
teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Notice that this peace is GIVEN by Jesus Christ.
And the manner in which we RECEIVE that peace
is by yielding ourselves to Him and determining
to live for His glory.
It is by GRACE from God that we are OFFERED
the ability to have peace.
Grace is giving, even when people don't
DESERVE it.
God, GIVES, through Christ the offering of
eternal salvation - THAT'S His GRACE.
And, His grace caused Him to come to earth
in the Person of Christ to OFFER that
salvation.
When we humbly RECEIVE His grace, then
we have "peace with God, through our Lord
Jesus Christ." (Rom. 5:1)
The grace of God is OFFERING peace with
Him.
Have you received PEACE by surrendering to
Jesus as Lord of your life?
Love ya!
