"GROUNDED"
A deacon and his wife
were sitting in their pew
with there son between
them.
The pastor deleverd an
eloquent sermon on the
"prodigal son."
Just as he came to the
part where the father
came running to the
son;
The pastor said, 'My son
has returned....' and,
what did he say next?"
The deacon's son said,
quietly to his father:
"YOU'RE GROUNDED!"

Eph. 3:17-19
17 That Christ may dwell in
your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded
in love,
18 May be able to compre-
hend with all saints what is
the breadth, and length, and
depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of
Christ, which passeth know-
ledge, that ye might be filled
with all the fulness of God.

_____THOUGHT________
Well, the son of the deacon
may have put in language
of the 21st century, what the
father of the prodigal son
may have wanted to say.
In our Scripture above, is
what God says about being
"rooted and grounded in
LOVE."
As Christians, we need to
have a growing understand-
ing of God's Word; that so
we might know more of
WHO God IS!
This "rooted and grounded"
position should be in the
"LOVE of Christ!"
How MUCH did Jesus
love US?
Enough to PAY for our sins
by TAKING our penalty
upon Himself!
THAT much love, "passeth
knowledge!"
And, we, as Christians
should be GROWING
DAILY toward that END!
Come to the Father DAILY
in Bible study to be
"fillled with all the fulness"
of God's LOVE!
