"God is ALWAYS CLOSE"
HI!
If ever there was a man who had cause to
doubt God's closeness, protection and
provision, it was Jeremiah.
He prophesied the truth as God revealed it.
For that, he was placed in chains, put in the
dungeon, dropped in a pit, then confined to
the courtyard.
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Lam 3:57-58
57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called
upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
58 O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of
my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

_______THOUGHT______________
After all of Jeremiah's prophecy had been
refused by the people, the same people
carried him away.
The place they carried him, was a place
he had prophesied about.
He had said that everyone who escaped
there would die.
Yet, Jeremiah affirms God's CLOSENESS!
In verse 57 of our text above, he says,
"...in the day I called upon Thee: thou saidst."
Jeremiah also affirmed God's ASSURANCE
in the same verse!
He wrote that God said, "FEAR NOT!"
Sometimes, it may feel like God is not NEAR.
Yet God always "..pleads our cause."
(Vs 58 above)
Ya know, wherever you go, God has been
there FIRST!
He stands BETWEEN us and circumstances.
David said, "The LORD is NEAR to all that
call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in
TRUTH!" (Ps. 145:17)
God is ALWAYS there to call upon!
And, it is by His loving mercy and grace that
He has "REDEEMED" us!
God is ALWAYS as close as your next
BREATH!
