"His PRESENCE is POWER for a PURPOSE"
The power unleashed in a true Christian is
the same as was unleashed to raise Christ
from the tomb!

Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy
Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in
all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the
uttermost part of the earth.

_______THOUGHT______________
Upon the moment of a person repenting and
surrender to Jesus as Lord of his/her life,
that person receives the powerful presence
of God's Holy Spirit. (Eph. 1:12-14)
His presence never leaves for He "sealed"
them!
And, His power makes them ALIVE to the
LIVING for Christ.
It is a RESURRECTION from the death of
sin, to the LIFE of being in Christ (Eph. 2:1).
Sin SEPARATES people from the living God!
True repentance REJOINS people to God
because HE gives Himself INTO them!
The presence of God IN a person is for a
PURPOSE: "to BE witnesses unto" Christ.
And that power is to propel the witness of
Christ in his/her life WHEREVER they may
travel!
The words "ye shall be" are translated from
the Greek esomai, and relates an IMPERATIVE
manner of living!
"For it is God which worketh IN you both to
WILL (determine) and to DO (perform) of HIS
good pleasure!" (Philippians 2:13)
Again, let us hear:
His PRESENCE is POWER for a PURPOSE!
