Celebrating their 25th anniversary, a man and his wife were
sitting together on the couch.
He held her hand and looked into her eyes.
Then, he asked, "Honey, when I'm old and unattractive,
will you still love me."
She looked up at him with those tender eyes and said,
"Yes, I do!"

Light from the Word.
How often do we consider how unappealing we are to Jesus?
You see, "..while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us!"
Jesus died knowing that all mankind are born sinners.
He willingly paid the price of forgiveness in spite of our depravity.
He determinedly purchased redemption from the slavery of sin
with His own blood!
Why? Because of His LOVE!
The Bible says it this way
.
God loved all mankind THIS way;
that He GAVE His only body in perfect love for our imperfection!
God had this plan from the beginning!
For He knew that:
God forms man,
Sin deforms man,
But only HE can transform man.
Today, thank God that He loved and does love you in spite of
how unappealing you are!
