As a Christian, WHY should we REJOICE!
Albert E. Brumley Sr. wrote a song about why.
"Once like a bird in prison I dwelt
No freedom from my sorrow, I felt
But Jesus came and listened to me
And glory to God, He set me free.

And He broke the bonds of prison for me

For glory to God, He set me free."
Yes, Jesus has set us free from the bondage
of sin, and by His blood given us the
closeness of His presence every day!
Because of what Jesus did, we are become
KNIT to God as a son to a father.
"For ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but ye have received
the spirit of ADOPTION whereby we cry,
ABBA Father!" (Rom. 8:15)
Daily God fills our hearts with joy that is
exceeding abundant, above all anyone
can ask or think. (Eph. 3:20)
Yes, sometimes we are ill;
sometimes we meet tragedies;
sometimes we experience heartbreak.
But we are being WATCHED by others
to see if we HAVE something they don't!!
Christians, you have IMMEASURABLE
JOY in your heart because of what Jesus
has ALREADY accomplished for you!
AND, there's MORE He WILL accomplish
for you!!
