"INVENTIVENESS"
Perhaps you have heard the old saying:
"Necessity is the mother of invention."
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Mark 2:1-4
And again He entered Capernaum after some
days, and it was heard that He was in the house.
2 Immediately many gathered together, so that
there was no longer room to receive them, not
even near the door. And He preached the word
to them.
3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic
who was carried by four men.
4 And when they could not come near Him
because of the crowd, they uncovered the
roof where He was. So when they had broken
through, they let down the bed on which the
paralytic was lying.

Those four men above, thought it was
NECESSARY to bring their friend to Jesus.
The door was blocked because there were
so many visitors.
So, the four men used INVENTIVENESS to
get their friend to Jesus.
They literally "tore the roof off!"
The REALNESS of Jesus brought out the
INVENTIVENESS of these believers.
True faith begets inventiveness!
These men didn't ask if their friend would believe
Jesus.
Neither did they balk at the fact he might reject
Jesus.
They just brought their friend, and let HIM decide!
If we genuinely believe Jesus;
If we truly believe people need Jesus;
Then let us be inventive enough to introduce our
friends to Jesus!
Let them believe and receive, or let them reject.
But, at least find a way to introduce them to Jesus
so they can make a decision.
