If you have Jesus Christ, you have God!
For, Jesus is the ONLY "express image" of God!
(See vs 9 above & Heb. 1:3)
Everything needed for salvation is found in Jesus!
Col. 2:10 says, "And ye are complete in Him,
which is the head of all principality and power."
Salvation begins and ends in Jesus!
Therefore, "BEWARE lest any man spoil you
through philosophy and vain deceit..."
"O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed
is the man that trusteth in Him!" (Ps. 34:8)
Jesus is the CAPTAIN of salvation!
"9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower
than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned
with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God
should taste death for every man.
10 For it became Him, for whom are all things, and
by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to
glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings." (Heb. 2:9-10)
As the One and ONLY perfect lamb of God, Jesus
suffered death, burial and resurrection for our
BENEFIT!
