Today's Devotion:
"KEEP the WORD FLOWING"
The Sheriff pulled up next to the
guy unloading garbage out of
his pick-up into the ditch.
The Sheriff asked, "Why are
you dumping garbage in the
ditch? Don't you see that sign
right over your head."
"Yep," he replied. "That's why I'm
dumpin' it here, 'cause it says:
'FINE FOR DUMPING
GARBAGE.' "
____SCRIPTURE____
Gal. 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty
wherewith Christ hath made us
free, and be not entangled again
with the yoke of bondage.
KJV
____THOUGHT______
Ditches are supposed to carry
excess water away.
When the ditches are filled
with garbage, the flow of
water is inhibited, and
damage is done to the land.
Christians are made to carry
the water of the Word of God
to others.
THAT flow is also to keep the
land from harm!!
But others think it is "FINE"
to dump "garbage" in your
free flowing ditch!
Our forefathers recognized
free speech as a foundation
for our country.
And, they also recognized
"freedom OF religion" as
a foundation for our country.
BUT, there are constant
barrages of "arrows" against
BOTH of those foundations!
Many would deny Christians
"free speech"!
Many also pervert the
constitution by saying that
it says "freedom FROM
religion;" not "freedom OF
religion!"
And, many also think that
"freedom of the press," is
meant to OWN the press
and say what they WANT
instead of reporting FACTS!
In other words, many think
it is "FINE" to clog your
ditch!
Christians, CARRY THE
WORD of JESUS!
ONLY THAT will keep
HEALING in the land!
Love ya!
