"LABOR TODAY!"
HI!
Today is called LABOR DAY. (In the USA)
Seems to me it's an oxymoron;
because we all TAKE OFF that day!

Matt 9:37-38
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest
truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

_______THOUGHT______________
There are many things that can happen to a field
of grain ready for harvest: hurricanes, tornadoes,
locusts, blight, mildew, drought, etc.
Even though those things can, and do, happen to
a field, we still need laborers to gather the harvest
at the appropriate time.
Though difficulties come, sowing will still lead to
reaping.
Also, there are many things that happen to a spiritual
harvest: greed, lust, envy, pride, thievery, murders, etc.
But Jesus promised that the spiritual harvest is
STILL "plenteous!"
There are still a LOT of people to be brought in!
Now, the worst thing that can happen to a spiritual
harvest is apathy and laxness on the part of the
laborers!
"Locusts" of the devil's legions try to erode the fields.
"Blight" of evil's growth eats away at hearts who
may believe.
Mildew and drought are brought on by unconcerned
and insincere believers.
The LORD of the spiritual harvest is Jesus Christ!
HE is the ONE Who can add "to the church daily
such as should be saved" (Acts 2:47).
Let us PRAY in earnest!
Let us WORK daily!
