"LISTEN and LEARN"
When I was in my teens, and adults
were in a conversation, sometimes
I enjoyed getting involved.
If Dad were there, I KNEW his
hand-signals.
Pointing his finger at me meant to
give my attention to him!
And, holding his palm toward me
meant listen and learn.

Gal 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty
wherewith Christ hath made us free,
and be not entangled again with the
yoke of bondage.

_______THOUGHT______________
There are two things which make a huge
difference in our lives.
One - "Stand fast," or be firm.
Two - the "yoke of bondage."
Being firm relates to unwavering trust
that "Christ hath made us FREE" from
old laws of customs and rites.
The Old Testament customs and rites
were sometimes cumbersome.
When we come to Christ we are set
FREE from that "yoke of bondage."
The "yoke" is a symbol of SERVITUDE!
Now our "yoke" (as Christians) is symbol
LEARNING from JESUS!
Rom. 6:18 says, "Being then made free
from sin, ye became the servants of
righteousness."
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye
shall find rest unto your souls." (Matt. 11:29)
Be FIRM in giving your ATTENTION to Christ!
LISTEN and LEARN from Him!
