"Learn Important Principles from
The PRINCIPAL"
In the Spring of 1959, I was in 9th grade
science class just before lunch.
The principal opened the door and told the
teacher he wanted to see me.
WOW! I couldn't think of anything I had done
that would warrant seeing the principal!
When I stepped into the hall, he said, "I know
you have lunch next and a study hall after.
I was wondering if you'd go with me to work
in my garden?"
I helped him weed the garden and placed
stakes for all the tomato plants.
Then, we ate a lunch his wife had prepared.
This happened every week from early spring
until we were out of school for summer.

a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of truth.

Mr. Mangham knew I struggled with grades.
Once, he quoted the Scripture above to me.
"The Word of God is a tool," he said.
"You must learn how to USE it properly,"
he continued.
I never accomplished good grades in school;
barely graduated with a "C" average.
But I never forgot the encouragement from
Mr. Mangham.
STUDY means LABOR to LEARN.
You can learn important principles from
the Principal!
Years later, I started back to college after
serving 4 years in the USAF.
I remembered what Mr. Mangham had said.
When graduation finally came, I had a 3.6
grade average.
It's easy to enroll in Jesus' school.
Just repent, ask His forgiveness and commit
to learn from His Word.
The Holy Spirit of Christ will help you study
His Word. (John 14:26)
Then you can learn important principles from
the Principal!
