"Let Us NOT Forget The JOY"
I remember the guilt and the shame while
going down the aisle to ask Jesus to
forgive and save me.
At 11 years of age, I was crying
uncontrollably.
Yet, today, as I look back, that scary
moment brings me JOY!

1 Peter 1:8-9
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom,
though now ye see him not, yet believing,
ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of
glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the
salvation of your souls.

Most folk consider faith and joy as stark
contrasts.
The "joy unspeakable" of faith IS the
"salvation of your souls."
In genuine faith, there is ALWAYS joy!
True faith in Christ produces joy that is
overflowing!
The "end" of faith is ALREADY accomplished!
Though we do not see Jesus today, we KNOW
that we will have ETERNITY in His PRESENCE!
Being truly given to Christ, there is JOY when:
*we see a person receive Christ as Lord;
*we see new Christians digging in to learn
more about Christ;
*we see Christians giving to produce the spread
of the Gospel;
*we have Christian friends who love us ALWAYS!
Those are just a FEW examples!
True faith in Christ produces MUCH JOY!
In Christ there is "joy unspeakable and full of
glory!"
Today, resolve to LIVE your faith in the JOY of
salvation!
