"Light to SEE"
HI!
We must have light to see.
When we have light, objects are revealed.
_______SCRIPTURE____________
John 3:16-20
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through
him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is
come into the world, and men loved darkness
rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should
be reproved.

_______THOUGHT______________
Jesus is "the light of men" because He
REVEALS the OBJECT of sin! (John 1:4)
Jesus also REVEALS the "life" of God:
perfect, holy, sinless.
AND Jesus reveals the object, or character
of mankind: separated from God's Holiness,
headed for eternal death, and in desperate
need of salvation.
THIS is the CONDEMNATION of mankind:
that they REFUSE to come to Jesus Who
REVEALS the sin that separates us from
God.
Those who love SELF more than Jesus
try to HIDE themselves from the LIGHT!
Those who love Jesus more than self
will COME TO the LIGHT!
Hear all that Jesus revealed to
Nicodemus that day:
1) Man must be "born again" by coming
to the LIGHT of Jesus; (John 3:3)
2) We don't know HOW God does it,
we just know He CAN; (John 3:8)
3) when a person truly comes to Christ,
there is a CAUSATIVE action that begins
working in that person; (John 3:16)
4) The ONLY "condemnation" of man is
his UNREPENTANT sin! (John 3:19)
