"Little Children are an EXAMPLE"
I remember when our children were little,
we lived in the country.
The children had a LOT of room to run
and play.
But, when I went outside and WHISTLED,
they came quickly!

Matt. 18:1-4
1 At the same time came the disciples unto
Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the
kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and
set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye
be converted, and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself
as this little child, the same is greatest in the
kingdom of heaven.

In the Scripture above, there are 3 very
important lessons:
1) Humility;
2)Treating children with kindness;
3) Being great in the Kingdom of God.
When the disciples are questioning who should
be the greatest in heaven (besides Jesus, of
course), He answers them with a tremendous
lesson.
ALL who come in genuine surrender to Jesus
are GREAT in the kingdom of heaven!
However, NO ONE comes to the kingdom of
heaven WITHOUT surrender to Jesus!
A little child comes at the beckoning of his/her
elders.
A little child does the bidding of his/her elders.
A little child is reflective of those who have
genuinely surrendered to Christ.
Humbly, Jesus called the little child to Him.
And, He is calling sinners the same way today!
Jesus treated the child with kindness when He
made the child the focus of attention.
Jesus is still treating people with kindness today!
The child came willingly at the call of Jesus, and
was given the reward of his expectation.
Those who come to Jesus willingly, will be
GREAT in the Kingdom of God!
Little children are the EXAMPLE?
