"MOTHER Being RESPONSIBLE"
Two Moms were talking over coffee.
1st Mom, "I'm really having trouble with my
13 year old son! He plays pranks all the
time!"
2nd Mom, "Teach him how to hunt."
1st Mom, "How will that help."
2nd Mom, "You can get rid of him and dad
for a whole weekend!"

may be long upon the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee.

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments.
They were written by the finger of God.
On the first tablet were four laws that dealt
with the relationship of man with God.
And, the first of those four, is "Thou shalt have
no other gods before me." (Ex. 20:3)
The second tablet of laws dealt with our
relationship with other people.
And, the first of those six, is the text for today:
"Honour thy father and mother: that thy days
may be long upon the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee."
We are to "honour" the parents who gave us life
and/or the parents who accepted us as their
children to love, protect and raise.
This honor includes obedience until we are of age,
then respect, adoration, and care all the rest of their
lives.
Mom found out that her married son had done
something wrong.
She went to have coffee with him and explained
that he should refrain from doing that.
He said, "Mom. I'm married now, with children of
my own. You don't need to tell me how to run my
life."
Mom answered, "Son, I'm not telling you how to
run your life. I'm telling you how GOD wants you
to run your life!"
Our MOST IMPORTANT relationship is with God!
Our second MOST IMPORTANT relationship is
with our parents.
It is good when fathers and mothers TEACH this!
It is good when children (young or old) RESPECT
this!
Mother is RESPONSIBLE for your life!
REMEMBER and RESPECT that!
