Pastor BIll was in the study, and
his daughter came in.
She asked what he was doing.
He said, "I'm writing a sermon."
She asked, "Does God tell
you what to write?"
He said, "Yes, honey."
She asked, "Then why are you
marking things out and starting
over?"
________SCRIPTURE________
Habakkuk 2:2-4
2 And the LORD answered me,
and said, Write the vision, and
make it plain upon tables, that
he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an
appointed time, but at the end
it shall speak, and not lie:
though it tarry, wait for it;
because it will surely come,
it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is
lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.

Habakkuk wrote from what God
had given him in a vision.
God said, "Make the vision
PLAIN upon tables!"
Write upon tables in large
letters.
The vision "is yet for an
APPOINTED time."
"At the end it shall speak!"
What shall it speak?
When man's soul is "lifted
up, it is NOT upright!"
Are we there?
In this age, today, man's
hearts are more VAIN and
not PLAIN!
He also said, "the just shall
live by his faith."
Heb. 11:6 says, "..without
faith it is impossible to
please God!"
Why?
Because "he that cometh to
God must believe that He IS!"
True repentance is required
in order for God to impart
FAITH.
When a person has truly
repented, he/she RECEIVES
faith as a gift from God.
THEN, that person will LIVE
life, believing, trusting God
and His Holy Word.
Faith is not exhibited in a
puffed up, pride filled life.
It is exhibited in humble
trust and PLAIN speech!
