April is said to have been derived from the Latin aperio, which means to open.
April, in most places, is the beginning of Spring.
Flowers begin to open.
It is, it seems, as nature reflects on the memory of Christ coming out of the tomb!
Some folk ponder, in troubles sore,
Is it time to seek the Lord.
Some folk wait ‘til facing death’s door,
Is it time to seek the Lord.
There is no time when we should not seek the Lord!
The tomb is open.
The heart of God is open.
NOW is the time to seek the Lord!
“Break up your fallow ground,” Hosea cries.
Open your heart!
Open your heart to His love, mercy, grace and presence!
NOW is the time to seek the Lord!
