Eph 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according
to the riches of his grace;

_______THOUGHT______________
In studying the context of the Scripture
above, we first read "In Whom."
The reference is to Jesus; for, in HIM,
and Him ALONE is salvation received.
"Neither is there salvation in an other:
for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we
must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
Second, we read "redemption through
His blood."
Redemption means DELIVERED.
ONLY through Jesus can man be
delivered from sin and the consequences
of it.
Third, we read "forgiveness of sins."
Pardon, or cleansing, ONLY comes
through Jesus!
Fourth, we read "according to the riches
of His grace."
It is ONLY because of Jesus' LOVE for
mankind that His riches of PERFECTION
were offered for our IMPERFECTION.
The ransom has been paid through JESUS!
Forgiveness is offered through JESUS!
It is by the "riches of His grace" that
ANYONE can choose to be saved from
eternal death!
WHERE else can such LOVE be found?
