Today's Devotion:
"PERSUADED"
Math is empirical evidence of time an space.
For instance, if one is given direction to
travel to Paonia, Colorado, one must first
calculate mileage.
Then, one must equate mileage to time of
travel.
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Rom. 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
KJV
_______THOUGHT______________
"Persuaded" is translated from the Greek word
peitho, which means being confident because
of evidence.
Paul was confident by evidence that a person
who is "in Christ Jesus our Lord," NOTHING
could separate that person from the "love of
God!"
Paul had MET Jesus on the road to Damascus.
(Acts 9:1-6)
Jesus had also told Paul he had given testimony
in Jerusalem, and must also give testimony in
Rome. (Acts 23:11)
The distance from Caesarea to Rome is about
1810 miles.
Many things might happen on the trip.
Principalities may arrest him.
Powers might detain him.
But Paul was ASSURED, CONFIDENT that
NOTHING could keep him from reaching the
distance because he was "in Christ."
What can STOP a person from reaching
the eternal glory of God?
If we are "in Christ" - NOTHING!
Be PERSUADED!
Love ya!
