Today's Devotion:
"PHYSICS and CHRISTIANITY"
According to the laws of physics:
If an object is still, it will remain
still unless another force acts
against it; AND
if an object is moving, it will remain
moving unless another force acts
against it.
Therefore, for us to get out of bed
in the morning, we must exert
energy greater than the forces of
gravity and lethargy.

Ye are of God, little children, and

greater is he that is in you, than
he that is in the world.

_______THOUGHT_________
Try bending your elbow upward
until your palm is under your ear.
Now, place a penny on your
elbow.
Then, throw your elbow
downard, and let your palm
catch the penny.
Inertia made the penny want to
stay on the elbow.
But the greater force of your
elbow moving downward
made the penny fall according
to gravity.
Let's apply that to the Scripture
above.
Lethargy or apathy will make
your faith stagnant - like the
penny on the elbow.
In order to move FORWARD in
your faith, you must exert
ENERGY.
God KNEW that!
THAT is why He SUPPLIED
the energy WITHIN you.
The energy of the Holy Spirit
is WITHIN; but you must USE it!
EXERT the energy through USE
of God's Holy Spirit by:
PRAYER, BIBLE STUDY,
ATTENDING CHURCH, and
TELLING others about Jesus!
Don't let your faith lie in beds of
apathy and lethargy!
You have a "GREATER" force
available!
