"PREPEARING For The TEST"
A college student was getting ready for an exam.
He got his books on the desk, pulled his chair to
the desk, put a pillow on his back, and
PROMPTLY FELL ASLEEP!

John 13:1
Now before the feast of the passover, when
Jesus knew that his hour had come that He
should depart out of this world unto the Father,
having loved his own which were in the world,
He loved them to the end.

_______THOUGHT______________
Jesus was fully prepared to take on the awful
crucifixion.
He was prepared to take all the sins of all the
world on Himself and become the scapegoat
for all mankind.
But Jesus knew his disciples were NOT
prepared for being without His personal and
physical presence.
This day in Jesus' life was lived in PREPARING
His disciples.
They would receive rejection as much as He.
They would be despised.
They would be called into question for preaching
the "Good News" of the Gospel.
They would especially be questioned because of
preaching a resurrection and final judgment.
Jesus used a special lesson.
He WASHED THEIR FEET!
Then, Jesus told them to wash one another's feet!
The physical lesson was:
SHOW LOVE, BE KIND, EXHIBIT SERVANTSHIP!
The Great I AM taught the lesson of being a
"SUFFERING SERVANT!"
As Jesus' disciples, this is the lesson that ALL
Christians must learn.
Christian, Have you PREPARED?
