Light from the Word.
Prayer is appealing to God for His divine wealth;
yet, is the acknowledgment of bankruptcy.
Prayer is appealing to God for strength;
yet, is the acknowledgment of weakness.
Prayer is a necessity for the Christian, for we are completely
unable to live properly without our Master’s aid.
Genuine, sincere prayer brings:
Peace to the troubled soul,
Strength to the soul weakened by the world,
Power to the warrior of Christ,
Comfort to the wounded.
Prayer should not always be seeking God for something.
It should also be for praising God for what we have.
Develop and ATTITUDE of prayer.
Determine to be in contact with the Lord at all times.
Pray without ceasing!
