"QUICKENED"
A pastor came to the pulpit and apologized for
the Band-Aid on his face.
He said, "While I was shaving, I was thinking
about my sermon and cut my face."
After the service, the treasurer brought a note.
He said, "I found this note in the offering."
The note said, "Next time, think about your
face and cut the sermon!"

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from
the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal
bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The Scripture above is a rather long statement.
However, it is easy to understand.
So, let me make this QUICK!
The Bible equates salvation with an ACTIVE
and FAITHFUL ministry!
When saved, a person is indwelled and
enlivened by God's Holy Spirit.
By His Holy Spirit, Jesus was raised from the
grave.
By the same Holy Spirit the regenerated Christian
is QUICKENED!
He is MADE ALIVE to do God's WILL.
The truly saved Christian will NOT live in
spiritual LAXNESS!
