True revival is the result of real prayer
meetings; when we come together in
genuine love, bow ourselves before
Almighty God, and plead for His power
to move us.

Acts 4:27-31
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus,
whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and
Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the
people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy
counsel determined before to be done.
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings:
and grant unto thy servants, that with all bold-
ness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and
that signs and wonders may be done by the
name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was
shaken where they were assembled together;
and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and they spake the word of God with boldness.

_______THOUGHT______________
There had been no rain in the little county for
several weeks.
The preacher called for a prayer meeting to
ask God for rain.
Many came to the meeting; but only one little
boy brought an umbrella.
How often do we come to God with our focus
so frayed by worldly desires that we forget
our main purpose: To plead with God to do
what only God can do; MOVE US!
A cars wheels won't have power unless the
motor gives them power.
A body of Christian believers cannot operate
properly unless God gives them power!
The church in Jerusalem heard what had
happened to Peter and John.
Those two had held out hands in true faith
to a lame man, and he was healed.
Then, the "council" called them into question.
Finally, they put them in prison.
But the church PRAYED!
They prayed EARNESTLY!
And, their prayer was so genuine, God
poured out power; the ground was
SHAKEN.
We need REVIVAL in our land!
We need REAL prayer meetings which
plead for God's power to
MOVE US!
