DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"REJOICE in the WORKS of GOD"

Johnny noticed that Dad was quieter
lately; not playful and happy.
He was bringing home work from the
office almost every night.

Johnny asked dad WHY?
Dad said he couldn't get all the work
done at the office.

Johnny said Why don't they put you
in a slower group?

Ps 92:4
For thou, LORD, hast made me glad
through thy work:
I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

Sometimes we become reticent, reserved.
Perhaps it is caused by a sort of
depression.

Let me introduce you to a word: "triumph."
It comes from the Hebrew ranan, pronounced
raw-nan'.
And, that word means to cry aloud for JOY,
or to SHOUT because of God's WORKS.

Just what are God's works?
Let's just talk about SOME of them:
1) keeping the universe together, even
though it is growing;
2) keeping the cycles of the moon and
sun for our rest and work;
3) keeping the cycles of the seasons
for plant growth and regrowth;
4) and most importantly, working the
sequences of humanity so that people
will see and believe in the salvation of
the Lord.

Jesus said, "My Father worketh hitherto,
and I work."
(John 5:17)

God is ALWAYS working!
And, His work is for our BENEFIT!

When you are feeling reticent, or reserved;
change your focus to what God HAS done,
and IS doing.
REJOICE, SPEAK OUT, SAY IT ALOUD!

Let rejoicing overcome and overflow!

Love ya!
