Oh! How I need cleansing!
Oh! How I need renewing!
Yes, the Scripture above would probably be best quoted:
“Create in ME a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within ME!”
We are sinners ALL; and sinners all the time!
Rom. 3:23 says, “ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”.
The good news is:
Christians have received “adoption” through the blood of Christ (Rom. 8:15), AND
God is “faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:9)
Christians, there are questions we need to ask ourselves each day.
Do I really want God to continue “recreating” me in His image?
Do I really want God to bring me to a “renewed” relationship with Him each day?
If the answer is “yes,” then we should:
continue daily in earnest prayer,
and, continue daily in study of God’s Word.
Remember: Revival begins with ME!
Love ya!
