"Royalty In Servant Clothes"
When Jesus walked on earth, it was the
regal glory of God dressed in servant's
clothes.
_______SCRIPTURE___________
Luke 4:16-20
16 And he came to Nazareth,
where he had been brought up: and, as his
custom was, he went into the synagogue on
the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the
book of the prophet Esaias. And when he
had opened the book, he found the place
where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed
me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath
sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives, and recovering
of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that
are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it
again to the minister, and sat down. And the
eyes of all them that were in the synagogue
were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them,
This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

_______THOUGHT______________
It is only by the grace of the Holy God that
there is an "acceptable year of the Lord!"
The Scripture Jesus read (above) was
written by Isaiah FOR God.
Because Isaiah had written a quote
FROM God in Is. 43:11.
It says, "I, even I, am the LORD; and beside
me there is no Savior!"
The GOSPEL (good news) of God's offer
for mankind to be saved is HOLY news and
can only be offered by the LIVING ETERNAL
God!
John 1:1-4 says,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was WITH God, and the Word WAS God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him
was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Only GOD can:
“heal” those who are broken in heart because of
sin, bring “deliverance” (justified salvation) to those
enchained by sin, bring “sight” to lives blinded by
sin, give “liberty” to those beaten down and enslaved
by sin!!
And, the "acceptable year of the Lord" is
EXTENDED through the church - Christians!
It is the age of GRACE, the age of God's
compassionate kindness.
The age when God ACCEPTS men through
repentance BECAUSE of the price HE paid
in BLOOD!
If YOU, my Christian friends, belong to Christ then
YOU are "anointed" of God to "preach" that
GOOD NEWS!!
GO!
Dress the REGAL glory of God's OFFER to
mankind in the "servant's" clothes of YOUR
testimony!
