It's really difficult to be assured of truth
today, when we see so much moral
insanity in the world.

Matt 13:52
Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe
which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven
is like unto a man that is an householder, which
bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

_______THOUGHT______________
Jesus's words above indicated a scribe is one who
is a devoted student of God's Word.
The scribe is like the owner of a house.
He finds and stores treasures as he studies the
Bible.
Then he SHARES them with others!
Are YOU a scribe?
Does your heart lead you to diligently study the
Word of God?
If so, God has treasures for you!
Treasures such as ASSURANCE.
While Job had lost EVERYTHING, and was sitting
in ashes with sores, he said two things that
indicated his ASSURANCE in God.
"I KNOW my Redeemer LIVETH" (Job 19:25).
And, "Though He SLAY me, YET will I TRUST Him."
(Job 13:15)
Job had an OLD treasure he had learned.
He brought that old treasure NEW to his friends.
The treasures God gives us in the Bible are
TRUTHS!
"ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness." (2Tim 3:16)
