Wisdom comes from USING CORRECTLY
what one knows.

Matt. 2:1-2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem
of Judaea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, there came wise men from the east
to Jerusalem.
2 Saying, Where is He that is born King of
the Jews? for we have seen His star in the
east, and are come to worship Him.

Ancient Chinese records, particularly
astronomical ones from the Han Dynasty
(like in the History of the Latter Han Dynasty),
describe unusual celestial events—a comet or
"king star" in 5 BC and a solar eclipse/darkness
in 31 AD.
Many scholars and Christians link those instances
to the birth and crucifixion of Jesus.
And that suggests Chinese astronomers observed
signs pointing to those events, though not directly
mentioning "Jesus" at the time.
Later Christian texts (like Jingjiao) describe a
virgin-born Messiah.
Those are historical records from China which
support the timing and nature of the phenomena
of both the birth and crucifixion of Christ.
Many other historical writers wrote concerning
theappearance of God for which Jews awaited.
The Jewish historian Josephus and the Roman
historian Tacitus are two historical writers from the
first century CE who mention the widespread
expectation among Jews of a coming ruler or
deliverer.
The "wise men from the east" BELIEVED
the Savior would be born.
And they SOUGHT Jesus!
It may be cliche, but there's an old saying:
"WISE men STILL SEEK JESUS!"
Historical truths are good for knowledge.
When they are coupled with Biblical truths,
they make men WISE!
ANYONE can be a wise man if he
SEEKS JESUS!
