"STRENGTH to STAND"
HI!
My mail box leans a little.
When I put the post down, concrete was used.
However, that night it rained heavily.
The soil holding the concrete shifted a little.
Thus, the leaning.
That post may lean a little, but it stands FIRM.

but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose
themselves; if God peradventure will give them
repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by
him at his will.

_______THOUGHT______________
When we are Christ's, we are SETTLED in the
CONCRETE of His Word.
However, the world around us is constantly
SHIFTING.
So, we must be MEEK, or tender-hearted and
yet SOLID when we share the Gospel of Jesus
with others.
Arguing with others, who do not desire to
acknowledge sin and repent, will only cause
STRIFE.
As Christians, we must learn to be self-disciplined,
and HOLD to the truth - yet, share it in a manner
which is from a caring heart.
We must remember that the Word of God is
QUICK (or ALIVE), and that when spoken, God's
Word CUTS to the heart and exposes sin.
The WORD of God is STRENGTH and power.
But we must use it in a gentle way.
LEAN a little in a caring and sympathetic manner.
But STAND FIRM in the truth of the Gospel.
